Painting the Town Red... Er, Pink and Yellow

So we found this post on "Meet the Dubiens" about making sidewalk chalk paint.  The recipe requires only cornstarch, water, and food coloring - all things we had in the cupboard (this was the real shocker!).  We didn't get after pictures, but the colors really brightened once it dried, just like the Dubiens'.

We began by mixing up one batch and split it between two bowls - one for yellow and one for red. We might have made more, but let's be honest with ourselves, the Kid would surely spill the paint anyway.

Liam really had fun painting... and so did Mommy!  She has to practice drawing cars though - hers come out more like rollerskates.

Oops!  There goes the yellow!  And now Little Lamb is a little more yellow than he was before.

Ooooh, Daddy is going to be maaaad!
