Corn Maze

We went to our very first corn maze this weekend, along with our friends Steve and Alisha and baby Olivia, and Laura and Matt and their new doglet Gatsby.  Having never been to a corn maze before, we three didn't know quite what to expect.  Did you know the point of a maze is not to find your way through to the exit but rather to just wander around in the corn?  Madness!  At least, Mommy thought she was going mad.

Liam seemed less than impressed with the corn maze.

Group conference... "Where the heck ARE we?"

Liam was enamored with the barrel train.  We weren't sure he would like going by himself, so Mommy wedged herself in there with him.  He loved it, and he probably would have been ok riding that thing all day.  But at $2 per ride, he got one.

We fed a horsie.

This buffalo jumped over this fence and out of his pasture as our hay ride drove past.

Hay ride!

"This one is just my size!"

Daddy and Liam drove a tractor.  Ok, not drove... more like sat on and said, "Beep beep! Beep beep! Beep beep! Beep beep! Beep beep! Beep beep! Beep beep!"

What a long day... anyone else getting tired?

Liam loves Olivia.

We swung a little...

...played a little...

...rode a tractor or two...

...and went down a giant slide.

Even Steve and Olivia got in on the slide action.

Daddy and Liam played in the dirt a little more, and then it was time to head out.

On the way to car, Mommy and Liam shared an apple cider slushie (YUM!)...

...and some granola bar.

We can't wait until the next corn maze!
